It's here!! The Wingbreaker, a romantic fantasy

I have so many people to thank for the fact that I’ve survived this roller coaster ride of a year. The support of the writing and reading community is astounding, and I know so many great stories come to life because the ones with experience reach a hand back to help us newbies along.

The Wingbreaker is the first in a low/no spice romantic fantasy trilogy first conceived last February. It’s set in the D&D world my husband created. My intention was to drop a couple characters in and watch them fall in love, but like all my favorite fantasy stories I also needed a Big Bad. And in the way of trilogies, I needed a smaller Big Bag they could defeat at the end of book one, and a plot line that was interesting enough that readers were eager to see what happened in book two. Needless to say, it got out of hand really quickly!!

I won’t spoil too much, but I can say for sure that book two, Prince of Pearls, is well underway, with more monsters, adorable moments, angst, and plot twists! Aiming for early next summer!

At the end of this year, I hope to publish Satyr, a companion novella to the Sundered Stone Trilogy. It follows Elaine, the cook, and Satyr, the innkeeper of the Aspen Inn. Their story lightly intertwines with the end of book one, but isn’t connected to the main story line.
